Chengdu Dongjiao Industrial Museum
Chengdu Dongjiao used to be industrial area after 1949. A lot state-owned factories and warehouses were located here. Through years of change and expansion of Chengdu city. Factories are moved further outside, leaving buildings of old workshops.
In 2005, Xu Baozhong led his design team rejuvenate the purpose of old workshops into Dongjiao Industrial Museum. Integrating contemporary interior design concepts, he turned abandoned buildings into modern industrial park.
